Customer reviews about Coleman 9949-750 Road Trip Grill LXE
We currently have three grills at home: a smoker/charcoal barbecue, a Weber Gas Silver C grill (10 years old already, the best!!), and this Coleman Roadtrip LXE. I purchased this grill because my other grills simply can’t keep up during busy occasions. Since getting this grill, it has been the highlight of our barbecue parties.
We went in a roadtrip in our RV here in Lauderdale and really took a lot of time finding the right grill to bring. We picked the Coleman Roadtrip because of its simple yet powerful build. We’ve never had such low-maintenance grill before so needless to say, we’re happy to have bought it. The high 20,000 BTU and the double burner setup gave our Weber a run for its money. It’s also half the price of our previous grills, not to mention that our Weber Q appeared to be a lot flimsier over the years.
Our experience with this grill is perfect. We cooked large meat cuts which fit impeccably in the grill with the cover shut. It cooked pretty well and with even heat. That night I also cooked two tri-tip steaks. After our small grilling fest, the grates turned out to be a breeze to clean. Also, after some flavorings, the meals turned out superbly cooked, fresh inside out and loaded with natural juices inside.
